I was honored by Nikon to be an official speaker, as well as an instructor in the following event coming in few days:
I AM A MOVEMENT, EGYPT EDITION
Nikon Middle East and Africa, in partnership with Foto Express, is proud to celebrate the unstoppable movement of creativity and artistry in Egypt. We are giving all the photographers and filmmakers in the country 3 days of awesome activities.
12th Feb 2015 – Nikon Photo & Film Festival, with the screening and awarding of the top entries of the Nikon Film & Video Competition: Egypt, and the exhibition and awarding of the top entries of the #IAmTheGiftOfTheNile Photo Competition
13th Feb 2015 – Nikon Photowalk, an action-packed photography tour of Egypt
14th Feb 2015 – Nikon School Sessions, with Bryan Peterson, Alexy Frangieh & Tarek AbdelRahman
I’ll be covering a new, personal approach unrelated to conventional photography practices and here is a brief:
“I’ll be focusing a lot on giving the attendance a very simplistic and yet deep approach of imaging, in terms of doing any discipline with Mastery and Love. I’ll be highlighting the “Performance” as important as the end result itself.
Conceptually and technically, I’ll be covering what I excel most in, which is the concept of “sequencing” as opposed to “individual” image capture. This approach will reveal a whole new way to deal with imagery and its tools.
This will also cover
– Digital workflows (image volumes management).
– Sequence image editing (editing bulks in a consistent way).
– The RAW vs jpeg paradigm.
– Time-lapse and hyper-lapse video creation.
– Logistics for long shoots
– Logistics for unattended shoots
– Discrepancies of cameras that affect sequences and are of no significance in single images.”
Register below, and have a sneak peek of some works that will be displayed at the event
